Step away from your usual routine and join Judy Wise for 2 days of artful fun. In addition to writing prompts
and a discussion of materializing our fondest wishes (and transforming our lives through a faithful writing
practice), we'll make stamps, stencils, experiment with paint, monoprint, water soluble crayons, stamp pads,
sumi ink, collage, embossing powder, various types of transfers, drawing and painting. We'll explore hand drawn
letter forms and consider composition and placement of words and images. We'll work on developing a personal
cursive and painted collage style and in enriching the creative process on all levels. Your journal will
never look the same!

Student Supply List

Bring any book with sturdy pages to work in - 8" x 10" or larger
acrylic paint - colors you love including black & white (ochre, napthol red, cyan blue, etc.)
gesso and acrylic matte medium
one fat glue stick
brushes - one 1" flat, one medium, one small
alphabets and number rubber stamps and stencils if you have them
water soluble crayons like caran d'arche or Portfolio
a few of your favorite pens
collage papers and personal photos printed on inkjet paper (not shiney)
graphite drawing pencil
sumi or india ink with stopper or stick
sandpaper, scissors, waxed paper and heat gun


Cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if you cancel 60 days prior to the event.
A 50% refund if you cancel 30 days prior to the event. No refunds will be given after September 5th.
