Child #2 has most of the same projects in his Portfolder as child #1. The layout, however, is different because he made decisions about where he thought things should go. Also, as we looked over all the books we’d read during the unit, child #2 picked up one of his favorites, A Promise is a Promise by Robert Munsch, and started talking about why the book was good. I recorded his comments in a dialog balloon for his Portfolder. The child then made an illustration from the book to go along with the balloon.
